History

Bev Marks Beds Australia was formed in 1997 when a site in Dandenong, Victoria was identified as the best position for the head office and principal retail showroom for the organisation. The founder, David Langworthy has been in the bedding industry – manufacturing and retailing – for more than 25 years.

From its beginnings, Bev Marks Australia has had an underlying and unswerving commitment to support Australian manufacturers.

This has given Bev Marks Australia a position in the retail sector that sets us apart from our competitors. And that is reflected in the Bev Marks Australia Valued Customer Policy.

The company’s key people began planning the first Bev Marks Beds Australia retail store in the late , and the group’s flagship store officially opened on Dandenong-Frankston Road strip on 26 December 1999.
