New Mildura Store

The Directors are pleased and proud to announce that James Barr has been appointed as a franchisee for Bev Marks Beds. This is the first franchise licence agreement to be granted within the Bev Marks Beds Australia operation. The new Bev Marks store will open later in June at the newly developed Home Maker Centre located on the corner of Fifteenth St and Benetook Ave in Mildura.

Over the past few months Gerald Meade (General Manager) has been working closely with James in preparing the store ready for the opening. This involves every aspect of setting up a new Bev Marks showroom including the fit-out, services and utilities, computer systems and network, showroom floor stock and presentation, signage, security, as well as integration of the site into the Bev Marks business principles and operational standards.

James, in conjunction with Robert Gee, has successfully completed the initial recruitment program. Three sales professionals have been appointed and all have completed the 3 week induction and training program, they are Kristian Oates, Kevin Robinson & Pax Langworthy.

James completed his training some time ago and has been spending time "In-Store" under the guidance and mentorship of Mario Spiteri. James will be relocationg to Mildura later in May where he and his team will be singularly focused on establishing the Bev Marks name and a positive presence through preparing a first class showroom ready for the Mildura customers.

Trading as "Bev Marks Beds Mildura", James, Kristian, Kevin and Pax, along with their yet to be appointed driver, will be an integral part of the overall Bev Marks family, business and culture.
